The GPO Film Unit, as it was then known, helped pioneer documentary style film making in the UK. Our classic collection of films made during the 1930s and 1940s has been preserved on video and is available as an education resource. The collection includes the famous Night Mail (1936) - a collaboration with poet WH Auden - and many others.
